Privacy Policy
This policy explains, in plain language, what Protech LMS keeps about you as a student and what we do with it.
What we collect
To run your student account we store your student ID, your name, your college and course year, and a password that is stored only as a one-way hash.
As you learn we store your progress, the courses you are enrolled in, your daily activity (used for streaks), and the details you submit on the request-access form.
Attendance records, grades and exam results are personal data too. We keep them only so you and your college can see your own standing.
How we use it
We use this information to sign you in, show your progress and certificates, mark your quizzes and exercises, and contact you about your access.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Your personal details, scores, attendance and grades are visible to you and to authorised Protech Academy staff. They are never shown on public pages, and no individual student is named on the public website.
Code you run in the online C compiler is sent to our execution provider to be compiled and marked. We do not send your personal details with it.
Cookies and analytics
We use a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is needed for the portal to work.
We use Vercel Analytics to measure page views in aggregate. It does not identify you.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and personal records yourself from Settings in your dashboard. This removes your profile, progress, attendance, GPA history and challenge points straight away.
If you cannot reach your account, contact the Protech Academy team quoting your student ID. We verify the request, then delete your account and personal records. We keep only what we must retain for legal or accounting reasons, and tell you what that is.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and its date. Material changes are announced to students who have an account.
