Enter each subject's credits and grade for one semester. The SGPA is the credit-weighted average of your grade points, so a 4-credit subject counts for more than a 1-credit lab. Nothing is stored unless you sign in and save.
Your SGPA
Choose a grade for every subject to see your SGPA.
SGPA = Σ(credits × grade points) ÷ Σ(credits)

Multiply each subject's credits by its grade points, add those products, and divide by the total credits of the semester. Subjects with more credits pull the SGPA further toward their grade.
Yes, for the 2022 scheme. The grade points match the table in the VTU Regulations 2022: O is 10 for 90 to 100% of marks, A+ is 9, A is 8, B+ is 7, B is 6, C is 5, P is 4 and F is 0. Check your own scheme's regulation if you joined under a different one, and confirm final results on your marks card.
A failed subject gets grade F, which is 0 grade points. The 2022 regulation defines SGPA over all the courses undergone, so its credits stay in the total and lower the SGPA. A course marked DX for low attendance is treated differently, so check your regulation for that case.
It uses the 10-point grading of the 2022 scheme. The SGPA formula matches clause 22OB 6.6 of the VTU Regulations 2022: credits times grade points, summed, divided by the total credits. If you joined under a different scheme, check that scheme's regulation before relying on the result.
No. It is an independent tool built by Protech Academy. Your final marks come from the VTU results portal and your official marks card.
SGPA covers one semester. CGPA covers all completed semesters, weighted by each semester's credits. Use the VTU CGPA calculator for the cumulative figure.
